For the third season, we are offering a Pre-Thanksgiving Training Camp in Colorado! This year we'll be training at Loveland Ski Area and focusing on Slalom Skills. This camp will include 5 days of Slalom training in gates, drill sets, and open terrain. Lodging will be at the Rocky Mountain Village in Empire, CO. It is cabin/bunk bed style lodging, including two SARC units, each with a few bunk rooms. We have rented Sunshine Cabin and Ponderosa Cabin, which can be viewed here!

Athletes should be between 9-17 years old, with at least one season of race training experience. Exceptions may be made for athletes younger than 9 who have attended an SARC camp in the past.

Training time varies but we try to train for 3-5 hours per day, pending lane assignments and when we are not training campers will have time to relax and catch up on school work (since we know they may miss school for this camp). We acknowledge that missing school for camp can be a big commitment, so we will enforce a mandatory study hall if requested by parents on the registration form. We also take some time for video review and techniques/tactics talks with coaches while we are off-snow.

Transportation to and from the Denver Airport will be provided for those flying in within the designated flight windows, listed on the Registration page. We can also pick up and drop off unaccompanied minors, but request that they fly on the recommended flight that is listed on the registration page.

Cost: $2700
Includes: Lodging, Lift Tickets, Coaching, Meals, Transportation (including to and from the airport), Supervision

We are currently accepting Parent Volunteer applications for this program. We will have 2-3 coaches and 1-2 adult volunteers handling the supervision, cooking, etc. A deposit of $1000 is due October 10th to hold your child's spot. The full payment of $2700 ($1700 after deposit) is due November 10th.
